How to renew a genre before it renews itself. Vendetta (GER) guides the listener with their album Brain Damage, which explores in a more innovative way a genre with a well-established style.

This splendid thrash metal set from Germany is for me endocardiac business. Especially first two scrapbooks...absolute pasture for ears.

This seems to be a legitimate sentence where most of the words have been replaced with random words. Hilarious in any case.

Relevant thrash, one of Harris Johns best productions. Quite overlooked unfortunately.

This is thrashing properly; the band knew how to do it, albeit I think they never managed to produce a true meisterpiece record and this album comes closest to it. The musicianship is good. I'm thinking the two vocals approach is a positive factor and setting the band apart from other thrash bands and maybe it could have been utilized even more like it is in the title track. Speaking of the title track: I think it's the best song on the album and Precious Existence is another highlight moment. Conversation, in the between, is another strong track.

It's a shame that the line-up didn't last for another record; it would been interesting to see if third time is really a charm -- and same goes for Holy Terror.

One tends to wish for another release, in both cases, I agree.
Edit: But for Holy Terror it could have ended similarly bad as for Vendetta, who knows.

This is one of those albums I could pick any day and have fun, their debut is also great. I think these two beat many more popular thrash albums people consider genre classics.

Amazing album but lets face it, I come back to this page only for the first comment by Immortal SEP.

It's indeed a funny comment, but honestly, I find most reactions to Immortal SEP's first post not particularly fair. Sure, for most Anglophones it's just incomprehensible word salad, but for Germans it's pretty easy to understand. One just has to translate it word for word from English to German and back again, then everything makes perfect sense.

set = Gruppe = band
endocardiac business = Herzensangelegenheit = an affair of the heart
scrap books = Sammelalben = albums
pasture for ears = Ohrenweide (a pun on Augenweide = eye candy) = a delight to the ears

When we consider that Immortal SEP probably never had to speak or write a single word of English in their life, I don't find the comment all that bad. After all, it's about thrash metal, so we shouldn't expect profound philosophy.

The comment isnt bad at all, its hilarious in the best possible ways. Also it seems obvious to you but we're not German. If you didn't tell me that I would never have known.
