I like their first album better, shows more musical diversity. This one has also some nice songs though.

This one took a while to grow on me. I liked it from the beginning, but never really had any attachments to it before I gave it another spin today. Definitely an interesting band.

oh yeah, this one is pretty good. It's hard to do the good cop bad cop thing without being cheesy, but I think they've pulled it off quite well

I think it's because they found a good balance. It's a melodeath album for the most part, and they only throw in the clean vocals where they work really well. Most good cop/bad cop vocal bands focus too much on clean vocals then try and crowbar in the harsh ones.

First of all, the musicianship and songwriting on this album is obviously a huge step up from the monotonous nature of the band's debut. A lot of the classical influences used here are to great effect, and even though 'Swan Lake (A Capella)' doesn't stay interesting for long enough, it still does a good job for a modern version of the legendary tune. Gluz's vocals, although sometimes too weak for the overbearing intensity of the music itself (both harsh and clean), still display a great amount of brutality and melody, reflected strongly (and much in the same way, nonetheless) by the cleverly written vocals. This album is generally a fantastic one, though not without its minor flaws. Roll on the band's next album this year!
