Why this album is not on the metal storm 'Top 20 albums of 2003'?? more than 20 people voted (36), and rating is 9 which is enough for 3rd place.

Because the band is still "invisible".

There is literally nothing metal about this album. It's amazing, don't get me wrong, but it shouldn't be on here.

Why not? From my understanding Metal Storm features a rather eclectic database that isn't limited to metal.

I was always under the impression that bands that had inspired metal sub-genres were featured (Such as Rush and King Crimson). I could see some hard rock bands that blur the line occasionally, but this doesn't seem like one of them.

To be honest I didn't realize these guys were featured... I do think they belong on the site, but TMV haven't done anything to influence the metal scene and to my knowledge none of their works are really metal-based.
Although I haven't listened to their entire discography, so they might have a more clear-cut metal album I'm not aware of.

If this site has TMV, it surely should have At The Drive-in also I guess they are somewhat closer to metal.

This album is fantastic, though I prefer The Bedlam In Goliath to this!

So grateful that I discovered this again, one of the greatest more accessible prog rock records ever created.

This is a must-own or at least a must-listen for any prog fan out there. The overall sound is somewhat harsher than most other prog bands, but the music itself is just as great as anything.
