Blaze might not have had the easiest of times either through his career or especially as of late. This guy has battled through all odds to release his most successful album to date. Promise And Terror is a great heavy metal album that touches on speed metal, but also towards the end touches on some very dark issues too. Give him another go; you might be surprised.

Well, he can hardly beat the albums he recorded with Maiden on this aspect. Tracks 1 through 11 on "The X Factor" and tracks 1 through 8 on "Virtual XI" were fillers.

They say we'll be your friends we'll stick with you till the end
But everybody's only looking out for themselves
And you say who can you trust I'll tell you nobody

I gave this a listen... just HOPING for something new to change up the music in my library... I gotta say, I was giving it a fair chance, listened to the whole thing, and the only song that really got me was the first one, Watching The Night Sky... and even that song was a bit boring. I just can't find his voice exciting or dynamic at all for some reason. Disappointing, as I was hoping to have something new to listen to...

I gave it a good listen and I can hear that the guy is really trying. Meat Loaf is out of his reach.

Compared to The Man Who Would Not Die this album is brilliant.
