My friend gave me an advance copy. Listened to it nearly twice now; I won't spoil it, but it's okay IMO... not bad, but not great.

How is it compared to Manifesto?

Better, definitely. But I quite disliked Manifesto.
There is no more rapping (which is good, since it doesn't fit very well), but there are still some techno parts/passages (which doesn't bother me much, since it isn't overkill). There are no more clean male vocals, either. Sabine's vocals haven't changed much, but I think her vocal style has been getting more "boring" since Wolves... not sure why -- perhaps it's not as dynamic? And that somewhat of describes the overall musical direction of the band too. I liked Wolves and Earth.Revolt a lot (rated 10 and 9 respectively), but Deadlock is just sounding kind of stale these days.
Feel free to disagree, of course. :]

I don't know, they sounded more catchy and easy listening in this album . Also I think the techno parts are a little bit overused here (but I agree with Sleeping Dragon, that doesn't bother me much). I personally like this album, but I expect more than this.
Bizarro World is good, but I have to admit Wolves is better (which is also their best album, for me).

No question at all that Wolves is still the best, but i'm liking this album also! Some really great tracks here. So far Virus Jones, Falling Skywards, Earthlings and Renegade are my favorites. State of Decay is also very good. ^^ My only real problem with this is that the whole album just feels incomplete. Its their shortest album to date by a good 5 minutes. Not many songs here are over 4 minutes.
About the Techno parts, I don't really know why everyone is complaining really. That has been part of their style since Wolves and I don't think its going anywhere. I personally like it, its unique and fun!

Melodeath doesn't get more generic, trendy and boring than this. It's a shame because this band actually had a few decent tracks a couple of years back.

I like a lot her voice, but overall the music is very bad.

Not too shabby for what it is. Suppose one could say, that most of the songs here are carried by the girl vocals, that saves them from falling in to mediocrity/forgettable category. Anyhow, cannot say it's a bad album, even if the music is somewhat lacking and fails to impress. At the end of the day, I'll take this over Amaranthe any day.
