Type O Negative in my opinion are one of the most overrated bands on earth. They manage to compose some really good songs per album, but the rest are either non-sense or not so inspired compositions to fill the album that make you get bored and most of the times not make it to the end of the album spitting curses here and there for the precious time you "lost".

A tad overrated in my opinion, but its still a great album even by Type o negative's standards. Its just that, with the same problem as 'Bloody Kisses' had, most of the songs are just too damn long. But they are brilliant songs too. Just a little long-winded.

I think this is one of the best band's works. It contains many great songs, such as Love You To Death, Be My Druidess, My Girlfriend's Girlfriend, the cover of Neil Young's Cinnamon Girl and my personal favourite Wolf Moon.

Ordinary men hate solitude. But the Master makes use of it, embracing his aloneness, realizing he is one with the whole universe (Lao Tzu).

Wonder about the average rating. This album is good, but not as good and innovative as Bloody kisses. While all the songs match the spirit of album , they lack the experimentalism of BK.

I'm not big on either gothic or doom metal, but this album is great!
