I didn't enjoy it. Darkspace has an interesting sound indeed, but (to me, of course) much of the potential is wasted on this album. While listening, this thought kept appearing in my head: "yes, i know that space is scary, but what the fuck else can you tell me?". Thus III I goes to my shit list.

Finally decided that III is the better album. Funny, since this is my #1 of 2014 while III isn't even in my top 3 of its respective year.

I LOVE this album so much. Darkspace haven't made any bad album IMO.

Aaaaaaaaaaaand still fucking amazing. I'm putting my tent in the "III is still the best" camp though. But like Lit. said, It does put up a good fight.

I also have to echo everyone who commented on the second track. Those keys are one of the greatest highlights in their entire discography, that's for damn sure.

Wow. I took a nap earlier and I dreamt I was listening to Darkspace for some reason. Which is weird because I don't listen to Darkspace since about the release date of this one.

Really? I took a fast look yesterday and I thought there was plenty of discussion actually revolving the music. I was even surprised at how non-stupid it was considering other long threads.

Hey I'm still around. I was looking around the new posts concerning Warrel Dane's death ( :/ ), when Paz and Karlito brought some warmth back into my heart.

No but seriously VIG, amongst the ton of nonsense we poured on this forum, I'm sure we had some pretty lively discussions around the music. I remember how passionate I was about being very indifferent about this album. If it wasn't for the time I had spent reading these comments back then, I wouldn't even remember listening to this album.

I'm just sittin waiting for a complete works box set. Don't worry. I've already moaned to b0ss about it.

The way I've viewed Darkspace was everything always collectively together as a journey. The way they dealt with the final few minutes so well on that quote to me solidified the end of it all.
