Albums like Mortals' Cursed To See The Future make an instant impact and grip you. Its sludge is dense with black metal leanings. The songs are long and perfectly structured because the transitions are smart. While there are moments of trance, it's the piercing vocals which guide you through the hostility and gloom of the music. Melodious yet aggressive, Cursed To See The Future has filth in good measure. The slimy and cavernous riffs easily lull you into the abyss.

Take the plunge!

Glad that these gals are finally added. Seriously intense black/sludge metal with vicious female vocals.

Ana picked a blackened sludge album?
This I have to hear

I am the Magician and the Exorcist. I am the axle of the wheel, and the cube in the circle. “Come unto me” is a foolish word: for it is I that go.

It's because it is good, okay? Loved it since the first time I listened to it and it only got better with subsequent listens.

I remember listening this a while ago thanks to the recommendation thread. Like it a lot, some very memorable riffs and very consistant. Also, extreme female vocals done right which is always pleasant.

This is good - basic song structures but heavy none the less.

The liking of this album grew old quickly. It just doesn't grasp me anymore. :\ the riffs are there and it feels intese but I don't know...It just feels like the song pass me by and I forget them immediately.
