You are not lying. To me it sounds like mix of Ahab and early Shining ('No Honour' is good example). Overall it's as good as Below The Sun or better.

Yeah it's an interesting mix of black and doom, maybe even more so because it's instrumental.

Yeah it's an interesting mix of black and doom, maybe even more so because it's instrumental.

Lots of post-rock here to, its like a doomier version of Mono.
