Staff review by
Arkona were already pretty much set; with the level of popularity they achieved, they could've just kept making the same folk metal they always did. Instead, they chose to build upon everything they had created so far and craft their most ambitious album to date. Did it pay off?

Wow, I wasn't expecting something that good, not at all!
This reminds me of Nokturnal Mortum's last two albums, and I freaking love those two albums.
This is easily my top Arkona album and a strong contender for my album of the year.
Use the words "generic" or "overrated" and I'll ignore your comment / review / person.

Arkona is talking about Nav' and Yav' The album Yav' is the first part and Khram is the second part. the two albums must be listened both together if we wanna understand the themes

Well we can say that 2018 has officially started. Great album here.

I think this is extreme prog more than anything else, many black elements (yay!), definitely not pagan/folk. Beautiful album, multilayered, loads of stuff to discover after repeated listens.

This one is really good, cant stop listening to it at times...really like the ambitious step they took and made it work on the album! quite surprising considering their earlier albums.
