Eh, more of the same. Some songs are a little heavy but.. I kinda think it's time for them to quit. I dunno, I gotta give it some more time maybe.

I would agree it's not pushing the limits of their sound but I don't think that's always a problem. Personally, I'm loving the new album and think their song writing continues to flourish.

I just listened to the full album and the truth seemed very interesting to me, the album is really good, characteristic sound to Evergrey, GOOD WORK!

Decent my kind prog metal, what I like, this band works on emotions and makes it happen. They push it trought in every album, thats why it works, some catchy lyric lines, riffs and emotions in music. That's it, its almost like older albums.

One of their best albums end-to-end, killer stuff

They are still in great shape, i have to say. The álbum is great, really consistent, heavy and with lots of melodic, intense and emotional moments. Since the return of some old members of the band, they´ve raised their game for sure. Hymns for the Broken was the perfect return, The Storm Within kept the momentum going, and The Atlantic is an evolution even greater than the previous release. My favourite tracks on this one are: "A Silent Arc", "All I Have", "A Secret Atlantis", "End of Silence", "Currents", "The Departure" and "The Beacon". Really awsome, congrats to the band, for another amazing work.

Departure is the best song on the complete album.

Shitty repetitive power metal. Expect them sth better

Disappointed compared to their last two outings. Still worth for their melodic riffs.

Their best since Inner Circle I think. I love the nautical themes on the album and the slower pacing with heavier guitars gives a grandiose feel to the songs which match that theme well. Highlights for me are 'A Silent Arc', 'Weightless', 'A Secret Atlantis' and 'This Beacon'.

Honestly, this has to be the best vocal work I have heard from Tom, as well as some of the emotional musical segments they have produced as well. 10/10 for me.

Listened to it a couple of times and enjoyed it, needs more listens to fully sink in. Much better than the previous one IMO.

What a waisted opportunity for a great album... Most tracks start off very well with a wide range of heavy riffs, however all choruses and bridges are way too fucking soft... What a shame...

A bunch of amazing musicians in this band. The bass playing and tone on this one are spectacular!

Mediocre

Some good songs in here like "All I Have" however, it has some mediocre tracks as well and focuses a lot on modern kind of metalcorish riffage which makes it sound to generic sometimes.
