Progressive rock / metal from Malmö, Sweden. 'Octavarium' is the solo project of Mattias Ohlsson. The name of the project pays homage to the classic album by 'Dream Theater', a band which is also a great influence on the music of 'Octavarium'. Other influences include Porcupine Tree, Neal Morse and Riverside. Epic progressive metal combined with more accessible rock.
