Erlend Hjelvik is an award-winning Norwegian heavy metal vocalist, lyricist, and composer. Founding member and frontman (both vocalist/lyricist) for Kvelertak from 2006 until 2018. In 2020, Hjelvik revealed he signed a record deal with Nuclear Blast Records, the world's largest metal label, started a heavy metal solo-band called HJELVIK, and unveiled his debut album, Welcome to Hel, due out in 2020.
