Biography
The Great Machine is a four piece band from Israel.
Led by the brothers Haviv: Omer on guitar and Aviran on the bass. Combined with the energetic drumming of Michael Izaki and the powerful singing of Noga Shalev they create a strong psychedelic, stoner-rock musical experience.
In the two years of existence the band has done many performances in Israel at different venues, festivals and clubs and have quickly became well known in the local scene for their energetic music and action packed shows. In the past year the Great Machine has performed on the main stages of all the big music festivals in Israel (Indienegev ,Yearrot Menashe, Central Station festival) .
On august 2013 the band had recorded its first e.p- Rumble; shortly after the release and with a lot of good feedback from the fans and the Israeli media, the band set out for a tour in Germany.They played at the Rotormanya stoner festival as well as Color haze, Coogans bluff, Rotor and many others.
The tour made a strong impact on the German audience and led to collaborations with a few German bands and touring Israel with Coogans bluff.
These days the band is working on its second e.p -Indiginer, planed to be released on Aprill 2014. Following the release the band will go out for a summer tour through Europe.
