Biography
Brazilian Metalheads with Groove, Riffs and Beats.
Aggressive yet melodic, brainstormed and emotionally charged music. Urban, fresh, sometimes rough, sometimes aggressive and sometimes unpredictable, kind of old school meets new school. Threat presents a blend of different elements such as versatile vocals, catchy riffs and powerful heavy grooves.
With its first full length, "Heaven to Overthrow" released in Dec.' 2007 produced by Heros Trench, the most renowned metal producer in Brazil, Latin Grammy Awards Winner and its concert voted as one of the best brazilian acts, Threat headed straight to Wacken Open Air in 2008, playing alongside Soilwork, Exodus, Hatebreed etc. Then back to Brazil to play Maquinaria Festival in 2009. The band has gathered and amazing stage experience and opened numerous concerts or played with renowned artists such as Anthrax, Suicidal Tendencies, Fear Factory, Joey Belladonna, Biohazard, Fear Factory, Misfits, Sepultura, Korzus, RxDxP, Machine Head to name a few.
The band released its second album Overcome and video clips for the songs Revolution and Call to Arms in 2013 and Unstoppable, its new work is out NOW, downloads are free.
