Biography
Forming in 2005 in Ottawa, Ontario, Endemise is the sonic culmination of over a half decade of relentless effort and fierce determination. After various line-up changes and musical designations, Endemise has trimmed the fat and focused in on the road to success with laser precision. The auditory assault created between founding members Dale and David Sauvé commands the attention of any listener within earshot, and create the iron foundation of the Endemise sound. While scornful vocals paint a grim picture, various textures of string and choir orchestration give way to a haunting beauty that envelops their music. With a vast landscape of musical tastes between the five members, there is always something unexpected to be found in Endemise, and the melting pot creates some of the most captivating metal to be found. In January 2009, Endemise released their first full-length album, Unearth The Throne. Produced by Mike Bond at Pebble Studios, the album introduced Endemise with a well-polished yet raw metal sound that was received with great enthusiasm in the Ottawa metal scene. Now, with the release of their latest 2010 EP, Endemise has brought more blistering tempos, epic palettes of melody and grand, intricate arrangements of symphonic elements. Will McTavish and Mitch Harvey parted ways with Endemise in the winter of 2011, and the band welcomed good friend Phil Cambell on guitar. Franky Falsetto took hold of the lead vocal duties. After spending the last two years touring and playing numerous shows throughout Canada they are ready to start the writing process for their second full-length album. Operating on a bold yet structured plan of action for the coming years, Endemise will grow and swarm the metal world with unfailing power.
