Azog are an Italian Melodic Black Metal band formed in 2016 from the ashes of the project Vorators, which had split-up in 2008.
In the writings of J.R.R. Tolkien, Azog was an orc chieftain that lived in the Third Age. His character appeared primarily in The Hobbit.
