Biography

Connoisseurs of every type of Metal have embraced Moore, the Denver-based band that combines musicianship, melody and madness. Their recently released sixth studio album, “Guillotines and Angel Wings” has received rave reviews worldwide.

Legendary Denver vocalist Jim Moore has brought together master guitarist Joe Johnson, a transplant from Philadelphia (where he was well known for his stints in Wastoid and Shadowdance), wunderkind drummer Haakon Sjoegren (a native of Norway, where he was National Champion Musician), and the blazing bass talent of Marcus Corich (formerly of Havok).

Moore members have shared the stage with the likes of Judas Priest, Manowar, WASP, Corey Taylor (Slipknot), Ratt, Wednesday 13, Dope, Seraphim Shock, The Mansfields, Lizzy Borden, Faster Pussycat, L.A.Guns, and Great White.

Live Moore shows dazzle audiences, providing a seamless, professional performance coupled with mind-blowing musicianship and excitement. A typical performance combines masterpieces from a variety of metal genres, including thrash, power metal, doom and more. Their high level of technical ability allows them to move gracefully between these divisions, crafting a show that appeals to a broad base of metal enthusiasts that grows with every show.

National tours and radio play have built a fan base from coast to coast. Fresh from their east coast tour, which included performances in New York, Philadelphia, and Chicago, Moore is ready to share their intoxicating metal cocktail with new audiences.

Their latest release, Guillotines and Angel Wings was recorded at venerable The Blasting Room, mixed and mastered by guru Jason Livermore (of Rise Against, The Casualties and The Alkaline Trio Fame).
