Existing in their present line-up from '96 Pleurisy developed a very own Death Metal-style, combining brutality & melody in a way which is refreshing to the metal scene. After 2 demo-tapes, their split-cd "Unholy Spheres" and their promising debut-cd "Experience The Sacrilege" from 2000 they have gained a well-known name in de Dutch metal-scene with excellent reviews and a devastating live-reputation proved by gigs with bands like Cannibal Corpse, Arch Enemy, God Dethroned, Ancient Rites and many, many others?
