Biography
Farshid Arabi started playing guitar back in 1989. 5 years later around 1992-1993, he started his career in music. First it was just some arrangements and composing for other singers, then Farshid Arabi composed some soundtracks for some movies and theaters. In 2000, Farshid Arabi decided to record an album which we know as "Penhan". Finally, "Penhan" was released three years later. "Penhan" means "Hidden". Actually, this is one the few metal albums which was released officially in Iran (as you may know, metal music is nearly banned in Iran).
Later on, Farshid Arabi with Nima Navapoor (on drums) and Arash Moghadam (bass) recorded the next album entitled "Sokoot-e Ravi", which means "The Silence Of The Storyteller". Just like the previous album, it features Persian lyrics. Farshid Arabi with his band officially performed live twice in Tehran, Iran. Farshid Arabi released the third album on November 2012. The third one is called "Be Rang-e Shab", which means "In the Color of the Night".
