Make Them Suffer - Biography
Biography
Make Them Suffer started as a five-piece metal band, emerging from Perth, Western Australia in October 2008. Since the band's inception, Make Them Suffer have been sweeping the nation by storm with a highly addictive blend of contemporary Death Metal, Black Metal and Deathcore. Fused smoothly together by symphonic texturizing and intricate piano to create a very dark and mature, emotionally driven onslaught of brutality.
Having already made a name for themselves with the release of their self-titled four track demo in January 2009. Make Them Suffer went back to the studio with Roland Lim and created an exciting, insightful and original twist on contemporary metal with the release of their 5 track EP Lord Of Woe which was released in 2010 to critical acclaim.
Since the release of their debut EP Lord Of Woe, Make Them Suffer have received both national and worldwide acclaim. Recorded, mixed and mastered by Roland Lim, their music has been compared in Blunt Magazine to the likes of Behemoth, The Acacia Strain and Bleeding Through, and has been described as "A tortured collection of sorrow and pain-filled brutality that just may be one of the most impressive metal releases of the year." - Drum Media
The release of Lord Of Woe has also seen Make Them Suffer embarked across Australia on their debut national tour (the first of many) as well as played alongside such international acts as A Day To Remember, The Black Dahlia Murder, Unearth, Darkest Hour, The Acacia Strain, Winds Of Plague, Between The Buried And Me and many more.
Having been featured in Blunt Magazine's "Top 25 Australian Bands to check out this year", being included in June's poster edition of Blunt Magazine, armed with a critically acclaimed release, a national tour, an extensive fan base and a sea of solid shows under their belt, Make Them Suffer released their first full length album titled Neverbloom in early 2012 then set out to tour far and wide.
