Appalachian Winter is a one-man black metal band from the rural mountains of Pennsylvania. The band was formed in 2008 by Daniel George Klyne. The theme of this band is the various entities of Pennsylvania's environment, with a focus on the harshness of Winter. Klyne has self-recorded and self-released all albums. All albums can be downloaded for free, and physical copies are available from the band's label Nine Gates Records.
