Omnerod - Biography
Biography
Created in December 2009 in Brussels, Omnerod is a progressive metal band which, after a few line-up changes, became the harvest of Romain Jeuniaux (guitars), Pablo Schwilden (drums), and Vornicu Daniel's (guitars) harsh mind tormenting.
This band is mainly a tool for the musical imagination of itsmembers, each one having dissimilar musical tastes and different cultural backgrounds. Drawing inspiration from metal classics and groundbreaking younger bands, without neglecting the rest of the musical spectrum, Omnerod developed an original identity by assembling a series of various concepts in a harmonious patchwork.
Its first album, Ivory Dune, was released in March 2014. After many line-up changes and five years of hard work, the band released its second outing, Arteries, in May 2019. Both albums combine influences both from classic progressive metal bands and artists, such as Opeth and Devin Townsend, and more modern acts such as Leprous or Between The Buried And Me . They also draw inspiration from a lot of non-metal musical genres.
