I don't miss the music of the late 90s or early 2000s myself, maybe I wasn't looking hard enough though, which lead to me listen 70s and 80s albums

I don't think it would matter to me as long as I liked the music. It's not really just the music it's self it's also the tv shows and movies I grew up watching.

Or if you went to some gig where some really good band played, that you had never heard of before because there was no internet to know anything about them

Sure it's easier to get the music now, but it surely it must have felt more rewarding to go through all the trouble to acquire the music in the old days, to find all the rare good stuff physically
