Aeternam - To Release Fifth Studio Album In September

Canadians Aeternam announce the release of their fifth studio album, dubbed Heir Of The Rising Sun. Due out September 2nd through Rockmark Europe label, it's comprised of 9 new tracks. Aeternam - New Track Streaming Online, Unveil New Album Artwork

Canada-based oriental death metallers Aeternam have released a new song, "Invading Jerusalem", from their upcoming second album Moongod, set to be released later this year via Galy Records. Aeternam - Part Ways With Bassist, New Album Details

Quebec, Canada-based metallers Aeternam have announced the departure of bass player Jean-François Boudreault.

The band commented: "We wishe him success with all his projects and thank him for all those great moments shared together."

The band has also revealed the title and tracklist of their forthcoming album, for a late 2012 release via Galy Records. The album will be recorded at Badass Studios with engineer JeF Fortin within the next two months and will be called Moongod.

Aeternam - New Album Updates

The Moroccan/Canadian melodic death metal band Aeternam announce that the new album's writing process is finished, and they will enter the studio in March 2012 to record it. The band's new album will be recorded in Badass Studio with the engineer/producer Jeff Fortin, who previously worked with Aeternam on their debut album Disciples Of The Unseen.

Alex Hernández on the new Requiem Aeternam

Alex Hernández (Immolation) joined Requiem Aeternam in order to perform the drums.
His huge talent and wide experience, gained in more than a decade of Death Metal, will contribute a stronger touch to the band style.

"Philosopher" will start being recorded on May 9th at Big Blue Meenie studios (www.bigbluemeenie.com) in New Jersey (USA).
Between two and three weeks are going to be used to record and mix it.

As soon as we confirm it, we are going to announce the sound engineer responsible to produce the new material... as well as the studios to master it, the designer to do the artwork, and many more details...

Requiem Aeternam - Is Back in Business

After a long time of silence, the Uruguayan melodic Black Metal band Requiem Aeternam has come back!

By the middle of 2002, their guitarist and vocalist José Romero decided to move all his activities to New York City (NY, USA).
At that time, a new era had started for the band...

Now, with a new line-up, they are almost ready to record "Philosopher", the long awaited second album.
