Season Of Mist is proud to announce the signing of cult black metal band Darkspace. It's been a while since Darkspace, a mysterious ambient black metal band from Switzerland, posted any news. Nothing unusal for them though. However, the band recently announced and confirmed several live dates for the upcoming year, scheduled mainly through the spring. Their label Avantgarde Music has released a seven-minute teaser through YouTube with snippets of tracks from their newest album, Dark Space III I. The album is set for release on the 6th of September and will follow his predecessors in being released initially on limited digipack CD format.

Swiss black metal act Darkspace are trying to tell us something. The strange message on Avantgarde Music's Facebook page is a code, a code that translates into a new album that will be released very soon, even sooner than expected. The band's fourth full-length record is finished, and is to be released on the 6th of September, 2014 and is titled Dark Space III I. To add to this, Avantgarde Music has started production on the release of their acclaimed debut Dark Space I on vinyl: this will come again with embossed gatefold cover and will be a double vinyl.

A new Darkspace album might be on the horizon, if their latest update is anything to go by. Their label Avantgarde Music has also shared the update released on the black metallers website. It includes a short ambient sample and an encrypted message in Morse code. If you decipher the message, it reads "Dark Space IIII" and a date, "September 2014."
