Hirax - Enter Studio To Record New Album

US thrash metal veterans Hirax have entered Skull Seven Studio in North Hollywood, California, with producer Bill Metoyer (Slayer, W.A.S.P., Sacred Reich) to begin recording their fourth full-length studio album and follow-up to 2009's El Rostro De La Muerte. The new effort is expected to be released later this year via singer Katon W. De Pena's own label Black Devil Records.

Hacride - Enter Studio This Month, Announce French Tour

French progressive/death metal band Hacride will enter the studio at the end of this month to record a new album, three years after the release of Lazarus. The band has also announced the Klonosphere Tour across France, which is scheduled for October this year. The tour will also feature two other French groups: Klone and Trepalium.

IXXI - Ink Deal With Osmose Productions, To Enter Studio In August

Swedish black metal outfit IXXI has signed to Osmose Productions and are set to enter studio this August to begin working on a new album. This album will be the band's fourth after Elect Darkness was released back in 2009. The band's guitarist, Axel Axelsson "Acerbus" Johnson, posted the following on their Facebook page: "IXXI is very proud to announce that we have now signed with Osmose production for a brand new record. With a new line-up and strength regained we shall enter Sunlight Studio in August with only the best IXXI songs so far ever to date."

Diabolical - Enter The Studio Next Month

Swedish black/death metallers Diabolical have released the following statement about entering the studio in the coming month: "We are entering Necromorbus Studio in June to begin the recording sessions that are supposed to lead up to the fifth Diabolical album. More than enough material has been written over the past year, so we are right now in process of figuring out what material to leave out. We will try to keep you posted here on the development. The album will be considered finished as soon as it's the goat."

Aeternus - To Enter The Studio In June

Norwegian metallers Aeternus are set to enter Bergen's Conclave and Earshot Studios in June together with producer Bjornar E. Nilsen (Vulture Industries, Black Hole Generator) to begin recording the band's seventh full length album. The album, to be titled And The Seventh His Soul Detesteth, will be released on Dark Essence Records later this year.

Hanternoz - To Enter Studio To Record New Album

Two years after the release of their EP Linceuls D'Écume, French folk metallers Hanternoz have announced that they will enter the studio and start recording drums, guitar and bass tracks for their (yet) untitled forthcoming full-length. According to the band, new folk instruments will be used, and some guests will participate in this record.

Helloween - Enter The Studio To Start Recording New Album

German power metallers Helloween have broken the silence and announced that they have just entered the studio to work on their new album, which they plan to release in the beginning of 2013.

The band issued the following statement on their official website: "Watch out for news and reports from the studio as the Helloween-machine is on a roll again.... The recordings for the 7 Sinners - follow-up will be running until the end of 2012 with a release being looked at in the beginning of 2013."

Nominon - To Enter Studio, Update On Forthcoming Split

"The band will enter a studio in Växjö, Sweden, next week to start the recording of the fifth full-length album, which is yet untitled. Rob Zombie - To Enter Studio In June, Announce More Tour Dates With Megadeth

US alternative/industrial metallers Rob Zombie have announced that the band will enter the studio in June to begin recording their next album, which is set for a late 2012 release.

Rob Zombie recently stated: "It has been way, and I mean way too long without any new music. I am dying to get back to it. I have not felt this much excitement within the band since recording the first Hellbilly Deluxe record almost 15 years ago. We have been working on tons of songs for quite some time and I can safely say this will definitely be our best record yet."

Malpractice - Enter The Studio

Finnish progressive metallers Malpractice have announced that they will start recording their fourth full-length album. The band released the following message on their official website: "Finnish progressive metal band Malpractice returns from a lengthy break and begins the recordings of their fourth album in April at Astia-Studios, Lappeenranta, Finland. The deal with Spinefarm-Universal ended in early 2011 and even then the band had over an album's worth of material in their drawers."
