Faith No More - To Reissue Debut Album

Faith No More's debut album, We Care A Lot, will be reissued worldwide on August 19th, 2016 via Koolarrow Records with new mixes, demos and live recordings. This is an album that has been out of print for over 20 years. These tracks have been remastered by Maor Appelbaum from the original 1/2" mix reels with bonus tracks: demo versions (taken from the original 8-track tapes) of "Greed," "Mark Bowen," "Arabian Disco" and "Intro," live versions of "The Jungle" and "New Beginnings."

Wolves In The Throne Room - Tour And Debut Album Reissue

Wolves In The Throne Room have shared some good news! After a quiet few years, spent at home building out their studio and writing a new record, the band is now ready to return to the stage. They have announced a Fall 2016 Tour. For now, they are touring the Eastern U.S. and Canada, an area they haven't toured in 5 years. Moreover, this year the duo celebrates the 10-year anniversary of Diadem Of 12 Stars and will reissue the record. Out of print physically for many years, they remastered the audio with Jason Ward at Chicago Mastering Service and re-scanned all photography from original negatives.

Noumena - Albums Reissued With Bonus Tracks, New Album Update

Noumena is about to re-release their second and third albums, Absence and Anatomy Of Life on April 29th, 2016. The albums will be released in a double CD digipak with five bonus tracks previously available only on digital format. The digipak is reissued by Haunted Zoo Productions. Currently, Noumena is working on new songs and getting ready for studio sessions. The band's next album will be released by the end of 2016.

Death - 'Scream Bloody Gore' Deluxe Reissue Announced

Relapse Records has announced the final chapter in the comprehensive Death reissue series: the legendary 1987 debut Scream Bloody Gore. The album is due out on a wide variety of formats this coming May 20th and has been newly remastered for this reissue. Like the preceding Death reissues, the deluxe reissue of Scream Bloody Gore has been meticulously remastered from the original tapes by Alan Douches (Death, Mastodon, Nile) and includes a plethora of bonus content, including previously unreleased recordings and rehearsal demos, super-expanded packaging, and brand-new extensive liner notes from former Death drummer/Autopsy founder Chris Reifert, Sepultura's Max Cavalera, and original Scream Bloody Gore producer Randy Burns.

Metallica - Share Two Live Songs From 'Ride The Lightning' Reissue

The Deluxe Edition of Metallica's milestone record Ride The Lightning is being released next month on April 15th via Blackened Recordings. Included in this edition are recordings of a show they headlined in San Francisco on March 15th, 1985. They headlined the second of two shows at the Kabuki Theater in San Francisco 31 years ago. Here's a little taste of the recording of that gig via SoundCloud below. It's "Motorbreath" and a cover version of the Diamond Head classic "Am I Evil?". Yes, I am.

Sargeist - Announce Line-Up Changes

Finnish bringers of chaos and destruction, black metal act Sargeist have announced a big line-up change in the band as 3 members left. Bassist Perttu Pakkanen, drummer Jani "Horns" Rekola as well as long-time vocalist Marko "Hoath Torog" Saarikalle all quit. That leaves founding member Shatraug and guitarist VJS. According to the remaining members, the band will return this year with a new line-up and album.

Revocation - To Reissue 'Empire Of The Obscene'

Boston thrashers Revocation have been touring across North America and the rest of the world in support of their latest release 2014's Deathless which was released on Metal Blade Records. Scorpions - 'Taken By Force' And 'Tokyo Tapes' To Be Reissued

Tokyo Tapes (1978), the first live album by the German hard rock band Scorpions, and Taken By Force (1977), the group's fifth studio album and the final effort to feature guitarist Uli Jon Roth, will be re-released in November 2015. Both reissues will feature many previously unreleased tracks, including demo versions of some of the most important songs dating back to 1977.

Atheist - 'Unquestionable Presence' To Be Reissued, Share Rare Live Clip

Remember a little landmark album called Unquestionable Presence? If you are familiar with Atheist, you should. As of now, you can check out rare footage of the last-ever live performance of the classic Atheist line-up, and the last show bassist Roger Patterson ever played. It was filmed at The Waters Club in San Pedro, CA on the Candlemass/Atheist U.S. tour in February 1991. This footage is included on the DVD portion of the newly-announced CD/DVD deluxe reissue of Atheist's classic album Unquestionable Presence, coming July 24th via Season Of Mist.

Cathedral - Unveil Early Live Video, Reissuing First Demo

While doomsters Cathedral called it a day back in 2013, they are taking us back in time. A CD/DVD reissue of 1990 cassette demo In Memorium (now spelled In Memoriam) will come out on July 10th via frontman Lee Dorrian's own Rise Above Records. The package contains a rare Cathedral live performance in Groningen from 1991, and you can get a taste of it below by watching them perform the Pentagram cover "All Your Sins."
