Americans Revocation announced on their Instagram account about a week ago that they are but a few weeks away from hitting the studio to begin tracking their eighth studio album, which will serve as the follow-up to 2018's The Outer Ones. No further details are known for the time being.

Revocation confirmed that their guitarist Dan Gargiulo has decided to leave the band after a decade and five released albums. For now they will continue on as a 3 piece and will bring the second guitarist to the ranks for the next touring cycle. According to reports, Phil Dubois-Coyne, the former Revocation drummer who parted ways with the band in 2015, has accepted a $30,000 settlement to end his lawsuit over his 2014 arrest in Oklahoma City. The 32-year-old Phil Dubois-Coyne suffered a broken arm when police arrested him at a Rockstar Energy Drink Mayhem Festival after-party early August 8th, 2014, at the Downtown Airpark.
