Kerry King - North American Tour Announced

In January and February 2025, Kerry King will embark on a 5-week long tour over North America. Municipal Waste and Alien Weaponry will also perform on this run as support acts. Coinciding with this tour announcement, you can also check out a brand new video for the song called "Where I Reign". The latter is part of the Kerry King's recently released debut record, From Hell I Rise.

Kerry King - Launches Solo Project

Former Slayer guitarist Kerry King recently announced that he is releasing his debut solo album in 2024. While no official line-up has been announced so far, this project reportedly includes King's former Slayer bandmate, drummer Paul Bostaph (ex-Forbidden, Testament, Exodus), and King is scheduled to play his first show since Slayer's disbandment at next year's edition of Welcome To Rockville festival in Florida.

Slayer - Gig Tonight August 3 In Tilburg Is On. Kerry King Has Recovered Sufficiently

Slayer's gig tonight (August 2nd) in Tilburg, The Netherlands, was cancelled shortly before Slayer was to take the stage. Apparently guitarist Kerry King was taken to hospital.

No further details are known, as of yet. We'll keep you posted on whether or not tomorrow's gig will still be on and what eactly happened to Kerry King.

UPDATE:

According to the venue site, Kerry King has been taken to the hospital due to dehydration caused by food poisoning earlier this week. The other Tilburg gig on Tuesday August 3rd will, for now, go on as planned.

UPDATE:

Kerry King has recovered enough for tonight's (August 3rd) gig to be on. Tickets to yesterday's cancelled gig will remain valid for a replacement gig in the near future, of which the date will still have to confirmed.

Witchery - Present New Video Clip Ft. Kerry King

Swedish Thrash metallers Witchery proudly present their first-ever promo video for the title track of their just released 5th album, Witchkrieg.

The clip was shot in early May in Stockholm, Sweden and was filmed, directed and produced by Daniel Larrson and At The Gates/The Haunted guitarist Anders Björler (At The Gates Productions). Additional scenes featuring Kerry King of Slayer were filmed in early June in London, England. A making-of can be watched here.

Witchkrieg was released on June 21 in Europe and June 29 in North America via Century Media Records, and was mixed and mastered Antfarm studios by Tue Madsen (Dark Tranquillity, The Haunted, Heaven Shall Burn).
