Heavy metallers King Diamond are preparing to enter the studio to begin writing and recording the long-awaited follow-up to 2007's Give Me Your Soul... Please album. The writing and recording process has been delayed a few times before. The band is also putting the finishing touches on the Blu-ray and DVD filmed during King's 2015-2016 "Abigail In Concert" tour. The Blu-ray and DVD will contain two full concerts, one recorded at an indoor venue in 2015 in Philadelphia and other at the outdoor Graspop Metal Meeting festival in 2016 in Belgium.

Currently at the end of their Abigail U.S. tour, King Diamond have been forced to announce the cancellation of their Tulsa, Oklahoma show. Unfortunately, the band didn't perform yesterday because frontman King Diamond is suffering from a severe case of acute laryngitis. The last two shows of the tour are Houston and Dallas and King Diamond won't be able to perform at the House of Blues this Friday the 4th of December neither.

King Diamond will soon embark on the "Abigail in concert 2015" tour where the legendary album will be performed in its entirety. So, they couldn't pass on the opportunity to film this event for posterity. The heavy metallers will be recording a feature length live concert video for Blu-ray/DVD/digital release while on tour this fall.
