The 8-song music offering will see the light on May 28th, 2021. It was mixed and mastered by Magnus Devo Andersson at Endarker Studio (Sweden). The first taste of the Svartrviðr, 10-minute long opener "Frôðr", is available for streaming in the form of a lyric video.

Viking black metal-tinged act King Of Asgard has announced their new line-up! The line-up of the Swedes is complete again with the addition of new guitarist Ted Sjulmark. Earlier this year, the group parted ways with both drummer Karsten Larsson and guitarist Lars Tängmark. New drummer Mathias Westman was announced then, now Ted Sjulmark joins and so the line-up is stable once again. And they are already working on new material!

King Of Asgard has announced two line-up changes in their ranks. The Swedish Viking black metal act has parted ways with both drummer Karsten Larsson and guitarist Lars Tängmark. The band outlived and conquered the winter of three with Fi'mbulvintr, paid tribute to their ancestors and their proud past with ...To North. Now, for the third time around, King Of Asgard return to Andy LaRocque's Sonic Train Studios to carve the runes of the forthcoming, yet untitled album. Swedish folk metallers King Of Asgard will hit Sonic Train Studios in early March to record the follower to their debut album Fi'mbulvintr, which was released back in 2010.

The band comments: "We're glad to get back there in early March and to get some new stuff on tape. This also being the first time recording with Lars on guitar. The material for this coming release is a natural step forward for King Of Asgard. It differs quite a lot though the foundation of our musical roots still are very present. A natural progression of the sounds on Fi'mbulvintr! Song titles include "Gap Of Ginnungs" and "Plague-ridden Rebirth".
