Overkill - To Embark On Tour Over Latin America
After announcing tentative plans to release another album in 2025, thrash metal legends Overkill have unveiled a string of April 2024 shows in Latin America, where they will be playing a series of festivals. The trek will see Overkill continuing to promote their latest album Scorched, which was released in April of last year.

Overkill - Planning 21st Studio Album
It's been only six months since Overkill released their latest album Scorched but they are showing no signs of slowing down, as guitarist Derek "The Skull" Tailer said in a recent interview with Z pasją O muzyce that the legendary thrash metal band plans to work on their 21st studio album next year after the Scorched tour ends. Tailer also suggests it could be released in 2025 as opposed to another four-year gap between albums.

Overkill - No New Album Until 2023
Overkill frontman Bobby "Blitz" Ellsworth revealed in a recent interview with Mark Kadzielawa of '69 Faces Of Rock' that the band's long-awaited new album will not be released before April 2023. The record will be the 20th studio album by the band (who are currently on tour with Prong) and their first since 2019's The Wings Of War. More info in due time.

Overkill - Phil Demmel To Fill In For Guitarist On Tour
In a recent interview with The Chicago Tribune, Overkill frontman Bobby "Blitz" Ellsworth revealed that Phil Demmel (Vio-lence, ex-Machine Head) will be filling in for guitarist Dave Linsk on the band's upcoming U.S. tour with Prong, which kicks off this Thursday (March 3rd) in Poughkeepsie, New York. Demmel had previously filled in for Linsk (who has been unable to perform for personal reasons) at Overkill's first show in over a year in New Jersey last November. The band plans to tour for most of this year and their highly-anticipated 20th studio album is expected to drop very soon.

Former Overkill drummer Sid Falck has released another new solo song under the name Falck called "Screams". It is the follow-up to his debut single "Afraid", which was released last December, and can be found on streaming platforms. Falck was the drummer for Overkill from 1987 to 1992, and performed on three albums with them: Under The Influence (1988), The Years Of Decay (1989) and Horrorscope (1991).

Thrash metal legends Overkill have announced a headlining U.S. tour that will take place in March of next year, with Prong serving as special guests.
