Welsh metallers Bullet For My Valentine are a surprise confirmation for Download 2013. The announcement was made after Bullet For My Valentine mistakenly posted Download Festival dates on the tour page of their official website. Download Festival booker Andy Copping has later confirmed via Twitter that Bullet For My Valentine have indeed been added to the 2013 line-up.

Nightwish have recently performed a special showcase on November 10th at the Hartwall Arena in Helsinki on the night of the Imaginaerum world premiere, featuring vocalist Floor Jansen (ReVamp, ex-After Forever), who stepped in during their US tour. Battle metallers Turisas have announced changes in their line-up. The original drummer, Tuomas "Tude" Lehtonen, is stepping aside after playing with the band from the very beginning. The band has also officially started recording their upcoming 4th album. The band is recording drums at Atomic Spa studio in Helsinki, Finland, and will continue the recordings in different locations until the end of January. The upcoming album is set to be released by Century Media in May 2013.
