The Funeral Orchestra - New Track Launched Online
After a 5-year-long hiatus, Swedish funeral doom masters The Funeral Orchestra came back last year. Recently they've announced the release of their second studio album, Negative Evocation Rites, due out on June 1 via Nuclear War Now! Productions (Vinyl). You can listen to the 13-minute opening track "Negative Evocation" via Bandcamp down under. Additionally, the band put out Apocalyptic Plague Ritual MMXX (March 31st) - alternative MMXX versions of previously released compositions - available for listening in full.

The Funeral Orchestra - New Album In The Works, Title Unveiled
After ending hiatus last summer, Swedish funeral doomsters The Funeral Orchestra are back with the statement that their new full-length record is in the making. The follow-up to their 2003 debut album, Feeding The Abyss, will be entitled Negative Evocation Rites (to be released this summer/autumn) and is currently in the recording phase. More details to be revealed soon.

The Funeral Orchestra - To Release Split Album With Ocean Chief
The Funeral Orchestra have teamed up with Ocean Chief for the release of The Northern Lights II. The album will be released somewhere in summer. Each band performs one lengthy number on this split release, Ocean Chief with the track "Born", while The Funeral Orchestra do their first track all in Swedish, called "Den Morka Shamanens Glod". The Funeral Orchestra - New Video Available Online
Swedish funeral doom metallers The Funeral Orchestra have posted their first-ever video, for the song "Opium de Occulta", online. The video was directed by Morningstar Film Production in Sweden. The track for this video comes off the band's last year released EP, entitled "ODO".

The Funeral Orchestra - Sign With Aftermath Music
The Swedish band The Funeral Orchestra signed a deal with Aftermath Music to release their second album entitled "Necro Occult" on 06/06/2006. The album is set to be recorded during February/March this year.
