Trap Them - Announce Final Shows
U.S. grindcore greats Trap Them just announced a string of "final" shows for November, leading to speculation that the band is breaking up after releasing Crown Feral last year. However, the quartet didn't address any of this so far, and just posted a picture of the final shows with a suggestive "2002-2017" stamp on them. If this is really the end, go see them while you can.

Trap Them - To Record New Album This Fall
Official press release: On Monday, hardcore grinders Trap Them will convene in Salem, Mass. at Godcity studio with Kurt Ballou (Converge, Disfear, Black Breath) to commence recording their Prosthetic Records' debut (and third full-length album overall). This will be their first full-length to feature drummer Chris Maggio, formerly of Coliseum. The band has also launched a new blog where they will be documenting the recording process and, ultimately, the touring cycle around this as-yet-untitled album.

Grindcore outfit Trap Them, AKA Trap Them And Kill Them AKA 77+K7, have officially announced the addition of Nat Coghlan to their line up.
Coghlan previously played with Transistor Transistor and is now a full member of the group.
The band's vinyl-only debut, entitled "Cunt Heir To The Throne," is due out November 21st from Trash Art! with a full-length to follow soon after. Check out a track from the album here.
