On Friday, the 13th of May, the Vulkan Arena in Oslo, Norway, will host a very special memorial concert, entitled Death Is Complete. This night will honour the work and life of the late Urgehal frontman Trondr Nefas and his departure from this life on the 13th of May 2012. The concert will feature the unholy trinity of Trondr Nefas' bands, Urgehal, Beastcraft and Endezzma, who will share the stage for the first, and last, time.

Black metallers Urgehal have finally revealed further details and the artwork from their forthcoming swansong album Aeons In Sodom. In honor of deceased band leader Trondr Nefas, the band assembled his final material into one final full length. Nefas' screams are too unique to replace, so the band have enlisted the services of venerable Scandinavian metal scene icons to contribute vocals on each track. The record will feature the unique vocals and personas of Nocturno Culto (Darkthrone), Nattefrost (Carpathian Forest), Nag (Tsjuder), Niklas Kvarforth (Shining), Hoest (Taake), Mannevond (Koldbrann) and more.

It has been a while since we heard from black metallers Urgehal. In 2012, the band's frontman and founder Trondr Nefas passed away and in 2013, the rest of the band vowed to make one final album in his honor. That album has now been announced properly. Their final album shall be titled Aeons In Sodom and drops on February 12th, 2016 via Season Of Mist. Stay tuned for details on the Norwegians swan song.

Norwegian black metallers Urgehal are streaming two new tracks, called "Death Is Complete" and "Beyond The Nightmare" at their official MySpace page.

Added the band: "The two new added tracks are taken from the upcoming 7" which is a tribute to old dirty fucking Black Metal. The reason for the sloppy drumming on the song "Death Is Complete" is that Trondr Nefas did it himself after not having played drums on a regular basis since '97. These two songs are staying here for a short while and the necro release is due after "Happy New Year". So just drop dead or fuck off!"
