Thrash metal titans Slayer announced nearly two weeks ago that they would be getting back together for at least a few shows. They have just announced that they will be following up their appearances at the Louder Than Life and Riot Fest festivals with an appearance at the Aftershock festival in Sacramento in October, and in a press statement, the band suggested that this will be their final reunion show. The latest update on the follow-up to 2021's Persona Non Grata, due later this year or in 2025, comes more than one week after Exodus guitarist Gary Holt was reuniting with Slayer for a few shows.

French doomsters Dionysiaque are ready to deliver their debut album, Diogonos, on March 15, 2024 via Italian label I, Voidhanger Records.
