The March 2006 issue of Metal Maniacs is in stores now, featuring an article on A Lower Deep!

Trinity has been named in the 2005's Top 10 by Behind the Veil, Season of Discontent, Metal To Infinity, Hellspawn, and Defenders of Metal. Trinity was also named Independent Release of the Year in Live4Metal.com's Best of 2005, and named Surprise Album of the Year in Metal Reviews Best of 2005. Trinity also recently received a 4.5 out of 5 in a review on Metal-Rules.com.

More shows are being booked so look for A Lower Deep in a city near you soon if you are in the south US or on the east coast.

We are gearing up to re-record 4-5 tracks from our 2002 demo for an EP to be out around April/May 2006. The EP will feature reworked songs from the demo, a brand new song, Anthony Tipton on drums, and stellar production. A new full length album to follow by year's end.

The storm is coming! The remaining weeks until the release of the Norwegians'new album, which is called "Storm", are passing by faster than the wind.

As a first thunderstorm the title track will be released as a single on the 24th February.

Next to the song itself and a club-remix of it, the single will contain another track from the new album

("Begin And End") as well as a totally exclusive one.

The more than strong comeback of a band has begun that has never really been away.

And it will be a new proof that Theatre of Tragedy not only have influenced the music scene, but they still do.

A proof for no other band than Theatre of Tragedy themselves to be as good in that as they are.

HELLVETO SIGN TO DARK SYMPHONIES

DARK SYMPHONIES is very honored to announce the signing of Poland's
Elite black metal band HELLVETO! Having already gained worldwide
acclaim with several important releases including their last two full
length releases IN ARMS OF KURPIAN PHANTOM (2003) and KLATWA (2005),
HELLVETO is now prepared to unleash their most epic work to date with
their Dark Symphonies debut entitled ZMIERZCH. Translated literally to
mean "dusk," Zmierzch takes the listener back to those forgotten times
when the ancient beliefs were forged by the fires of the true Pagan
spirits. HELLVETO is the artistic expression of one enigmatic figure
L.O.N. who has skillfully executed all the music and designed the

the sound of HELLVETO, take the epic keyboard sounds of Summoning and
folk sensibilities of early Vintersorg and blend it within the melodic
splendor and power of Emperor and Limbonic Art, and one begins to

Recorded at LS Studio and Burnt Laboratory in Poland, during the
summer/autumn of 2005, ZMIERZCH contains 10 brand new tracks with over
50 minutes of True Pagan Black Metal Music! Dark Symphonies has set the
official world wide release date for TUESDAY MARCH 21, 2006! The first
1,000 copies will included a limited edition poster designed by L.O.N.

The release date of the new Vanden Plas album had to be pushed back a little due to a delay of the final mix. "Christ 0" will be in stores at the end of April. The concept of the album is based on Alexandre Dumas' novel "The Count of Monte Cristo". The first edition comes in a special packaging and will feature the Andrew Lloyd Webber song "Gethsemane" from the musical "Jesus Christ Superstar" as a bonus track.

Seminal technical metal pioneers Atheist have regrouped for a run of exclusive live performances.

Guitarist/vocalist Kelly Shaefer has reassembled what is widely considered the bands classic recording lineup (Shaefer, guitarist Rand Burkey, bassist Tony Choy, and drummer Steven Flynn) for two exclusive festival performances; Italy's Evolution Festival and Germany's Wacken Open Air. Shaefer comments, "We're very excited to be able to get back on the stage and play these insane tunes again the proper way with Flynn, Burkey and Choy. It's going to be very exciting and something not to be missed!."

Atheist will take part on Evolution Festival (scheduled for July 16 and 17 in Brescia, Italy) and Wacken Open Air (scheduled for August 3-5 in Schleswig Holstein, Germany). These will be the first in a series of exclusive festival performances announced. Shaefer continues, "We would like to make a great festival run this year and expose as many as possible to the music we lived and died for. Many thanks to the Evolution Festival and Wacken for helping to give many people who never got to see ATHEIST live a chance to see us one last time. This is our chance to make the music we worked so hard to create come alive one last time, and we guarantee that it will not disappoint."

Lyzanxia entered the Fredman Studio on January 9th 2006 to record their third full-length album 'UNSU' with Fredrik Nordström. 'UNSU' is the long-awaited follow-up to album 'MINDCRIMES', which came out in 2004 in the USA and a year before in Europe and Japan. Fans can expect more of every component that has been shaping the Lyzanxia style over the years in what promises to be the most accomplished Lyzanxia album yet. The band has already started recording the drums these past few days and are going to be in the studio for a full month. You can follow them every step of the way by reading their daily studio report on www.lyzanxia.com, where you'll also be able to watch short home videos of how a Swedish dentist pulled out a wisdom tooth as vocalist/guitarist Franck Potvin was rushed for an emergency extraction on the very first day of recording!

Infernal Majesty is best-known for their debut album "None Shall Defy," which gained them cult status throughout the world of thrash. The band will assist in the final production with a total running time of approximately 60 minutes of music. The artwork and layout will be handled by the members of the band. Finally, USER NE will also shoot a special video for one of the songs off ATROPA NATURA that will be included as a bonus on the cd!

Only two days after the departure of their former vocalist Kelly "Sundown" Carpenter Beyond Twilight have announced Björn Jansson of Tears Of Anger as substitution. Read the entire statement below:

The goal of Morningstar Records is to establish a solid independent label within quality metal and rock as a label run by musicians for musicians.Our intention is not to climb the ladder up through the underground, but to start no-holds-barred from the first release being "Genocide" by the Norwegian death metal-band Bloodthorn, their 4th studio album marking their 10th year from their first release in 1996.

After years of wanting to start a label focusing on the music itself and not on hype and hunt for profit, Morningstar Records was established by Keep of Kalessin mainman Arnt O. Grönbech. Arnt comments: "I was totally blown away when I heard the new Bloodthorn album 'Genocide' during their mixing-session in Godt Selskap studio, and I simply chose to buy the European rights for this crushing album. Amazing news! YES it's true - PYRAMAZE has been announced as opener of ProgPower USA Festival, to take place in Atlanta, GA in the fall (correct date to come soon). Promoter Glenn Harveston contacted us late last night with the news that he wanted to announce Pyramaze already now alongside the opener for the second day (Wastefall).
