Lamb Of God - Randy Blythe Released From Czech Prison, Band To Appear At Knotfest

Finally, Lamb Of God's vocalist Randy Blythe has been released from prison. A spokesperson for the Czech prison Randy was being held at confirmed that he was released yesterday afternoon. The Prague Municipal Court's ruling against the prosecutor of the Prague 8 District Court was made on Thursday afternoon behind closed doors.

Anthrax - Drummer Arrested For Domestic Battery

Anthrax's drummer Charlie Benante was reportedly arrested this last Friday night on domestic battery in front of a child. Benante and wife were allegedly arrested at the Hilton Garden Inn in Elkhart Indiana after arguing in front of their daughter, age 6.

According to a local report from WSBT.com, the two were arrested and picked up at the Hilton Garden Inn and both were subsequently released from jail the next day. Benante's booking form shows a court date set for this Friday, Aug. 3rd.

Phil Anselmo - Two Solo Tracks To Be Available On Split With Warbeast

As previously reported, Phil Anselmo (Down, Pantera) has been working on his solo project over the last few years. It has now been revealed that Phil's solo songs will be featured in a split with Dallas Ft. Worth's Warbeast tentatively due out in late September. The two songs that Phil will contribute with will also be featured on his solo album Walk Through Exits Only. The Warbeast previously unreleased songs "IT" and "Birth Of A Psyco" will be exclusive to the split even though the Texas thrash band just finished recording their second album.

Children Of Bodom - Confirm Ilosaarirock Performance, Frontman To Be Released From Hospital Tomorrow

Children Of Bodom's frontman Alexi Laiho checked into the hospital with severe stomach pain last week, which later turned out to be a serious infection, forcing the band to cancel a few dates this past weekend. Earlier this morning, the band checked in with an update, and Alexi will be leaving the hospital tomorrow (July 12th) and will be back on stage this Sunday to play at Ilosaarirock in Finland.
