Finland's death doom operatives Asphodelus have signed a worldwide deal with Hammerheart Records. The trio is planning to record new album, the successor to 2019's Stygian Dreams, this summer. An early 2022 release is expected.

Guitarist Aldo 'Dodo' Doom explained that he, bassist Ross Adams and guitarist Dirty John have decided to leave the band.
