Geoff Tate's Queensrÿche - Glen Drover Decides To Leave

As if having two Queensrÿches wasn't bizarre enough, now guitarist Glen Drover (ex-Megadeth) decided to leave Geoff Tate's version of Queensrÿche before they hit the road. Remember that announcement where Geoff Tate said that Rudy Sarzo, Bobby Blotzer, Glen Drover, Kelly Gray and Randy Gane would join him on future musical endeavours and tours under the Queensrÿche moniker? Well, Glen Drover is no longer part of that project.

Ozzfest Japan 2013 - Tool, Deftones And Others Confirmed

The line-up for the first-ever Ozzfest Japan 2013, set for May 11th and May 12th, 2013 at the Makuhari Messe arena just outside of Tokyo - keeps getting stronger. Tool, Slash, Deftones and Stone Sour have now been confirmed and will join previously announced headliners Black Sabbath and Slipknot.

Lock Up - European Tour Announced

Grindcore supergroup Lock Up will undergo a brief European club tour in February of 2013 in support of their latest album Necropolis Transparent, released under Nuclear Blast Records. The tour, tentatively named Infiltrate And Destroy Europe 2013, will see them play a 10 date up-close-and-personal club tour which takes the band through such territories as U.K., France, Germany, Switzerland, Czech Republic, Austria and Belgium.

Black metal mob Svarttjern has just signed with Austrian label NoiseArt Records for their future releases. In addition to that, Rock The Nation will be handling all their booking from now on.
