Dark Angel - Guitarist Jim Durkin Dead At 58

Dark Angel guitarist and founding member Jim Durkin died last Wednesday (March 8th) at the age of 58. Durkin was part of the band from 1981 to 1989 and again from 2013 up until his passing, and he had been sitting out some of their recent live performances, with drummer Gene Hoglan's wife Laura Christine filling in for him. Durkin had also spent the last couple of years working on new material for what would have been the first studio album from Dark Angel since 1991's Time Does Not Heal.

Saxon - Guitarist Paul Quinn Stepping Down From Touring

Legendary English metal crusaders Saxon revealed that guitarist Paul Quinn, also one of the founding member, retires from touring. As a result of this decision, Saxon were forced to cancel South American tour in April as well as the appearance at the Monsters Of Rock cruise.

India's Demonstealer is sharing a brand new playthrough video for the upcoming album's final single, title track "The Propaganda Machine". Artillery - Drummer Killed In Accident

Artillery founding member/guitarist Michael Stützer Hansen shared news via his private Facebook page that the band's drummer Josua Madsen has passed away. Josua died after being hit by a bus early on Thursday morning (March 9, 2023) on the dark country road between Copenhagen and Roskilde, Denmark. Josua was the Artillery drummer since 2012.
