Mastodon - New Album Tracklist Revealed
Atlanta progressive metallers Mastodon will release their new upcoming album, The Hunter, on September 27th through Reprise Records. The band now revealed the tracklist for the forthcoming effort.
The Hunter was recorded at Doppler Studios in Atlanta with producer Mike Elizondo. Drum tracks were previously completed in Los Angeles at the legendary Sound City Studios (the place where Nirvana's Nevermind was recorded).
A brand-new track, called "Black Tongue" is still available for streaming at this location. The new single "Curl Of The Burl" will make its online debut on August 16th. More info on the limited edition can be found here.

Yeah, I don't think it matters too much about the titles of songs. These are as good as any and I agree with bluemobiusx that humour and not being too serious can go a long way. I think the guys from Mastodon are pretty smart and creative anyway.
