Darkseed - Part Ways With Vocalist, Replacement Announced
German gothic metallers Darkseed have announced that Mike Schmutzer is their new frontman and singer.
The band states: "Why a new singer? In Harry's eyes, there was no chance to reconcile live dates and his job. When we started to plan new live activities, his sight of the things came to surface... unfortunately after we announced him as our new singer and did the Poison Awaits album with him. Due to intolerable interferences like this, there was no other way than to break up with him."
"Now we're very glad to have Mike on board. He's such a badass singer/performer and a very kind person. And the best thing is: We're ready to rock on stage again! Welcome, Mike! We are currently planning gigs for 2012 and hope to see you all."

As do I, I wasn't a massive fan of their vocal style with their last album as opposed to past albums while they had Stefan Hertrich. Does anyone have any information on this new guy, or are able to provide any hints as to what his impact on vocals and songwriting might be?

Finally they will understand that no one can reach stefan! he was not just a vocalist but also shows the new way of thinking and combining the metal elements with some spiritual figures. unfortunately he gives up from metal and now he is interested in new age music.
