Where is that new Man Must Die opus that was supposed to be in the works two years ago? Well, it turns out that there has been trouble with finding a label willing to put out the new beast. Therefore, the death metal band is now inviting fans to help them release the album with a Kickstarter.

The following announcement was published on their Facebook page: "It's been a couple of years since we released the No Tolerance For Imperfection album, which received some really amazing feedback and on the back of it we have gained so many amazing and loyal fans, we salute you.

Here we are now as a band with a new album written which is sounding killer but in this day and age of recession and downloading, it's getting harder and harder to get a label on board, which makes it so difficult for bands to release new material. We have exhausted all avenues of funding to no avail but are as committed as ever to bring this album to our fans.

So, here we are, we really need your help, we have set up this pledge account to invite you to be a part of Man Must Die's history and future. We have created a list of exclusives and packages in the right hand column you can buy and make it a pledge. With every pledge, you help to make this happen. As soon as we have reached 100% we get to release the new MMD album. If we don't reach the target, you don't get charged anything but you also won't receive any items either. That sounds pretty fair. So let's make this record together.

Also, if and when we pass 100% of our goal we will be donating 10% to the RSPCA charity. One thing, if you choose to pay with PayPal and we don't succeed you get your money back when the project is finished. Don't forget to share!"
