Norwegian black 'n' rollers Vreid have announced a six-date tour of Japan as support for Greek melodic black metallers Rotting Christ. Vreid will be promoting their latest release Welcome Farewell in the month of January next year.

The band said: "We are extremely excited to tell you that in January we will tour Japan for the first time. We will do 6 shows as special guests for greek metal legends Rotting Christ. Support acts will be announced later. First shows is in Sendai on January 21th, while Tokyo rounds it up on Sunday 26th of January. We can't wait to head east!"

Both bands released new albums this year. Vreid's new album Welcome Farewell was released on February 22nd and Rotting Christ's Kata Ton Diamona Eaytoy was released on the 1st of March.
