Hatriot - Steve Souza Stepping Down As Vocalist

Maybe it was predictable after Hatriot's vocalist Steve "Zetro" Souza returned to Exodus but he is stepping down as the singer in the band. While initially it was agreed that he would perform in both bands full time, that is not possible anymore. Bassist Cody Souza is taking over vocal duties in Hatriot. Steve "Zetro" Souza is not leaving the band though and will assist in running operations, writing lyrics, and overseeing the band.

Here is the band's statement regarding the situation: "As some already may know Zetro will not be fulfilling the vocal duties in Hatriot. Zetro has a made a full come back with Exodus, and had originally agreed to perform in both bands full time. At the time we were content with Zetro to remain in Hatriot and Exodus. Due to the impact of him returning to Exodus, their recent successful release, and their current hype it had become complicated for Zetro to perform vocals in both bands. We had come to the conclusion as a band not to get a new singer and instead promote Cody, Zetro's son, to bass guitar and vocals. Cody sounds very much in the vain of his father. During Zetro's time away Cody would fulfill vocals on various practices and shows. Zetro will continue being a part of the Hatriot camp assisting in running operations, writing lyrics, and overseeing the band as a whole. We are hard at work on our third studio album, which will debut Cody Souza on vocals. We will be adding the song 'From My Cold Dead Hands' off our sophomoric album Dawn Of The New Centurion on our band page featuring Cody on vocals."
