Tankard - Drummer Hospitalized
Sad news from German beer loving thrashers Tankard. The band has informed that drummer Olaf Zissel was hospitalized because of a suspected stroke. Furthermore, they also confirmed that Gerd Lücking from Holy Moses will step in on their upcoming live shows. On a recent update, the band has confirmed that he has been discharged from the hospital and will now rest.
Here is the band's latest update: "First of all thank so much for all the 'get well soon, Olaf' messages yesterday. Good news: Olaf was discharged from the hospital a few hours ago after the suspicion that he suffered from a stroke wasn't confirmed by the doctors. But obviously he has to relax/rest for the next couple days/weeks so Mr Gerd Lücking from Holy Moses will play tomorrow at the Summer Breeze and on saturday at the Motocultor Festival in France for him. If everything goes smoothly Olaf will be playing those two shows in early September in Hoorn/Holland and at the Gohelle-Fest in France though."
