Protest The Hero - Confirm 'Kezia' 10th Anniversary Shows
Kezia was the 2005 debut album of progressive metalcore group Protest The Hero and still remains one of their most beloved albums. The band will be celebrating its 10th anniversary with a bang and a string of shows with the original line-up. The first shows announced will happen in home turf Canada and drummer Moe Carlson as well as bassist Arif Mirabdolbaghi will be returning to the stage to indulge in a little bit of nostalgia. Kezia will be performed in its entirety!

I still remember accidentally seeing the "Blindfolds Aside" video on MuchMusic (can you believe it, when TV actually still showed good music on occasion!) - I was 16 and instantly struck since I had heard nothing like it before. I had to find the song and the album at once; little did I know in a couple of years metal would take over my life slowly and suddenly! Come to think of it, as a Canadian, PTH remain probably the only band which I discovered by "local media" rather than active searching on the internet, which accounts for virtually all of my music collection. In short, I'll be there with the band, for the nostalgia! It'll be as close to "supporting local bands" as I'll ever get.
